Our Purpose:

To provide a Church home and fellowship for those of like mind and faith;

To provide for mutual edification and discipleship to the glory of God; and to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ as a witness to our community and to the world. (Ephesians 4: 11-13; Acts 1;8).

What We Believe:

We believe that the Holy Scriptures, the Old and the New Testaments, are the Word of God, divinely inspired and infallible, the only trustworthy guide in faith and life.

(II Timothy 3:16; II Peter 1:20-21; I Thessalonians 2-13)

We believe in only one true, living, personal God, who is perfect, infinite, eternal, and who exists in three persons: Father,  Son and Holy Spirit.

(Isaiah 45:21; Matthew 3:16-17; II Corinthians 13:14; Acts 17:28)

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God; that he came in the flesh, being begotten of the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, thus being true God and true man, in order to redeem us from eternal death through his death on the cross; that He was raised from the dead for our justification and that He is now at the right hand of God interceding for us. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Isaiah 9:6; Isaiah 10:21; Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:29; John 3:16; Romans 4-25; Philippians 2:5-8; Hebrews 4:14-16; Revelation 1:8; Revelation 22:13)

We believe the Holy Spirit to be a member of the Godhead, of the same nature with the Father and the Son; that He was active in creation; that He convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment; that He bears witness to the truth of the Gospel in preaching and testimony; that He is the agent of the New Birth; that He indwells believers at the point of salvation; that He seals, guides, teaches, sanctifies, helps and endows the believer with spiritual gifts.

(Genesis 1:2; John 16:8-11; John 3:3-5; John 14:16-17,26; John 16:13; Acts 4:31; I Corinthians 12:4-7; Ephesians 1:13; II Thessalonians 2:7)

We believe that Satan is a real supernatural personality, a fallen angel of great power, full of cunning and wickedness; the enemy of God and of all good, seeking the destruction of Christ and the eternal ruin of man; but who has been defeated by Christ’s death and is doomed to be cast into the eternal lake of fire.

(Matthew 13:19,39; Mark 1:13; John 13:2; Colossians 2:15; Revelation 20:10)

We believe that man was created by God in His own image, but that he sinned against God and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, which is separation from God; that now in his natural state man is totally depraved, born with a sinful nature that (upon reaching moral responsibility) produces sins of thought, word and action: that man needs a redeemer and that by receiving Christ as his saviour he is born again by the Holy Spirit and becomes a child of God.

(Genesis 1:26-27; John 1:12-13; John 5:24; Romans 1:19-32; Romans 5:12)

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and the un-just; the everlasting blessedness of the just and the everlasting punishment of the unjust.

(John 5:28-29; I Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:10-15)

We believe in the personal, pre-millennial and imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 25:13; John 14:3; Acts 1:11; I Corinthians 15:50-52; I Thessalonians 4:13-18;

Titus 2:13; I John 3:2-3; Revelation 20:1-6)

We believe in a visible Church, the body of Christ, made up of those, who through repentance and regeneration have come to Christian faith, have received the Hoy Spirit and have become members of the fellowship on earth. Jesus Christ is its head and foundation. This Church will be characterized by its evangelical faith, teaching, love, behaviour, works and by the observance of the ordinances according to the command of Christ. It will be preserved by Christ until the end of the age of grace.

(Matthew 16:18; Ephesians 1:23; Colossians 1:18; Acts 17:30; Acts 20:21; Galatians 3:26)

We Believe in the ordinance of the baptism of believers. We believe that all, (who through repentance and faith in Christ have been regenerated and have become children of God) should, upon confession of faith, submit to water baptism according to Christ’s command. (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Galatians 3:27)

We believe in the ordinance of the Lord’s Supper, as a privilege and a responsibility of believers, celebrated as a memorial of the death and suffering of our Saviour Jesus Christ, and for fellowship with God and Fellow believers. We believe that participating in the Lord’s Supper should be open to all believers. We further believe that each person who partakes of this meal needs to go through a self-examination in order to be in true fellowship with God and fellow man. (I Corinthians 11:23-29)

We believe in the practice of Church discipline according to New Testament teaching.

(Matthew 18:15-18; I Corinthians 5:5; II Corinthians 6:1-7; Titus 3:10; Galatians 6:1)

We believe in the institution of life-long marriage of one man and one woman who are of one faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and in the sanctity of the home. (Matthew 19:1-9; I Corinthians 7)

We Believe that it does not agree with the peaceable walk of believer to initiate court action to settle disputes, to swear oaths, to avenge himself, and to engage in the hostilities of war but rather to walk Peaceably with men and to repay evil with good.

We believe that we have been called with a holy calling to live a life of separation from the sins of this world. (Ephesians 1:4; I Peter 1:15; Colossians 1:22)
